Shriners Hospital for ChildrenWe have always recycled our materials here at Roof Life of Oregon. In January 2009, we decided to donate the proceeds of 100% of our recycled metal. We wanted to find a place that was local and that we could connect with.

Shriners Hospitals for Children is a one-of-a-kind health care system dedicated to improving the lives of children by providing pediatric specialty care, innovative research and outstanding teaching programs.

Every year, the Shriners Hospitals for Children provides care for thousands of kids with orthopedic conditions, burns, spinal cord injuries, and cleft lip and palate, in a family-centered environment at no charge. It’s how Shriners Hospitals has been helping kids defy the odds since 1922. Shriners hospital is a worldwide hospital with locations in Canada, Mexico, and the United States. Families from all around the world come to Shriners Hospital for their services.

All of the money that we donate goes directly to the Portland hospital location. One of our team members has a family member that works at the hospital and has always known of the wonderful things that are accomplished at Shriners. This was a wonderful opportunity to give back!

If you would like to donate to Shriners or read more about the organization please go to their website.
