Shayla: Thanks for joining us today for the Roof Life of Oregon podcast. I’m joined today by Jerry. Jerry, tell me a little bit about the Lifetime Workmanship Warranty you offer. What is that?
Jerry: That warranty is telling you as long as that roof is on your house, and you’re the original owner of that warranty, that it is not going to leak due to workmanship. So that does exclude any acts of God or anything like that. But if something happens to where that roof leaks for any reason, we’re going to be there within 24 hours to alleviate or to least to assess it and see what’s going on, and we’re going to get it repaired as quick as possible.
Shayla: And that is a roof that’s you’ve put on? Is that correct?
Jerry: That’s a roof that we’ve put on. That is correct. And let’s you buy an architectural roof and it’s classified as a thirty year roof, it will go as long as it’s on there. It could be forty years old, but it’s still going to be a full Workmanship Warranty, because we know that roof is not going to leak by the way it was installed. So your roof is guaranteed for as long as it’s on there. If you sell the house, the next person gets ten years above and beyond when they sell it. So the next person still gets a Workmanship Warranty. They don’t get the full lifetime, because we have know idea who you are or how you’re going to take care of your roof, but you still get ten years above and beyond. So it is true Lifetime Workmanship Warranty.
Shayla: That seems like it probably adds a lot of value to the roof.
Jerry: A ton of value. It’s on us. It is. It’s awesome for people have rentals. They don’t use us very often for rentals, but it’s awesome for people who have rentals, because that’s one thing that’s off their plate that they know they don’t have to have an out of pocket expense for. It’s anybody who’s getting into a new home. It’s off their plate. There’s no out of pocket expense if something happens. You don’t have to pony up the fifteen hundred dollars, if your roof leaks.
Shayla: It probably adds value when you’re reselling too, to have that warranty at least move onto to the next buyer for a time.
Jerry: It does. It really does. It adds a huge value to it because at least they know they’re covered for at least up to ten years. They’re going to get ten years above and beyond. So you know your roof is going to be covered on your new purchase for the next ten years.
Shayla: Okay. So if you have any questions about the Lifetime Workmanship Warranty, it does add a lot of value to your new roof, all you have to do is reach out to Jerry and the team at Roof Life of Oregon. Thanks, Jerry.
