At Roof Life of Oregon, we never want to prematurely replace your roof. We are going to do everything we can to make sure you get as many years as possible out of your investment. If you think it might be time to replace your roof, it’s always best to give us a call for a free inspection so we can tell you exactly where your roof is in its aging process.
We get phone calls all the time from folks who think it might be time to replace their roofs. They might have a leak, the roof is starting to look older, or the next-door neighbor has replaced his. There are all sorts of reasons people call, but a roof replacement isn’t always needed immediately.
Just because your roof looks bad, it doesn’t necessarily mean that it’s shot. It could simply be an indication that it’s time to start budgeting for maintenance. We’ve got to get up there and check that all your roof’s components are working properly. It could be a hundred dollar rubber flashing replacement, rather than a brand new twenty thousand dollar roof. That’s a big difference!
The moss that’s making your roof look bad may actually be the thing that’s keeping it alive. If you let the moss growth take over and don’t provide your roof with necessary maintenance from a young age, that moss will become so embedded that removing it could cause your roof to deteriorate even faster. You might get a few more years out of it if you just leave it alone.
It’s always best to just give us a call at Roof Life and we’ll come on out to check on your roof. If someone has told you that your roof is shot and it’s time to replace, isn’t it worth an extra few hours of your time to make sure that’s the truth? You could save yourself thousands of dollars by getting a second opinion.
Remember, looks can be deceiving. Just because your roof appears to be having trouble, it doesn’t always mean it needs to be replaced. If it does need a full replacement, we’ll be happy to sit down with you, go over your options, and help you customize a roof perfect for your home.
