In the Greater Portland area, we experienced a rain season unlike anything we’ve ever seen before. Unfortunately, that means we were unable to treat our clients’ roofs and the pile ‘to-do’s’ kept building and building. Now that the summer weather is here, we have begun the process of catching up on our backlog of roof treatment for our clients composition, shake, and tile roofs. Our crews start at 6:30 am and work until it’s dark completing sometimes 15 homes during the day to ensure all of our current and new clients are served in a timely manner.
The difference is easy to see, but you should be reminded that the sodium silicate pH changing roof treatment is rain activated. If your roof still looks like the black algae infested roof instead of the light ash gray cedar shake roof don’t worry. The rain season will be back in September.
